Welcome to Steve's Go Vertical Chicago Page.
On Sunday, November 9th, I will climb the Sears Tower step by step, as part of Go Vertical Chicago 2008, the longest indoor stair climb in the world.
I am climbing to raise funds for cancer research for all types of cancer, through an organization that funds the top young cancer scientists in the country, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
This is a unique event that only happens once a year. Please click on the "Go Donate" button at the top of this page to make a donation that supports my climb.
You can choose the amount you want to give, or sponsor me by step or by floor - or just make a general donation to the charity itself. All donations are gratefully received!
This is the first time I am participating in an event like this. I cannot guarantee how long it will take to complete, however I am no stranger to the stair machine at the gym and feel I can do it in under 20 minutes. Your donations will be my motivation to reach this goal.
Thank you for your support.
