On Sunday, November 9th, we will climb the Sears Tower step by step, as part of Go Vertical Chicago 2008, the longest indoor stair climb in the world.
We are climbing to raise funds for cancer research for all types of cancer, through an organization that supports the top young cancer scientists in the country, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
This is a unique event that only happens once a year. Please click on the "Go Donate" button at the top of this page to make a donation that supports our team.
You can choose the amount you want to give, sponsor by step or by floor - or just make a general donation to the charity itself.
Click on "Make a Donation" on the left of this page to make a donation. Or you can join us in the climb by clicking on "Register to Climb."
All donations are gratefully received and thank you for your support!
About the charity:
Since 1946, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation has supported innovative investigators who are finding new ways to beat cancer. It has invested more than $200 million in the most gifted young scientists across the nation, including many in the Chicago region. 11 of its scientists have won the Nobel Prize, and many have made critical discoveries leading to new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
